Wolfgang's Bacon-Wrapped Meat Loaf

I am not a cook... it's not that I can't so much as it's that I'm too lazy and impatient. I have been known to make a meatloaf (one of my favorite foods) from time to time, but this one, as wonderful as it sounds, seems to be a bit too much work. Would love to try it though...
Why am I posting this?

ahhhhhh, bacon. . .

it tastes great, it smells great, and it justifies the existence of the pig. we love you, bacon!

by the way, I've never had meatloaf. But a meatloaf wrapped in bacon might just sway me. . .

Twice a year I make a vegetable meatloaf with vegetables (naturally), oats, herbal breadcrumbs, ground beef and ground turkey and sloppy joe sauce. (Hmmm...no wonder my cholesterol's up.)

I'm English, Lisa. we don't do meatloaf. we do pie. we do a lot of pie. and potatoes. we do love our potatoes. I'm not even sure what a meatloaf is, exactly, though I'm guessing from the looks of the one in the picture that it's a bit like a big old loaf-shaped burger, which sounds pretty cool to me. I might have to get the missus to knock one up for me. . .
