What Schizophrenia Does

A 20th-century artist, Louis Wain, who was fascinated by cats, painted these pictures over a period of time in which he developed schizophrenia. The pictures mark progressive stages in the illness and exemplify what it does to the victim's perception.

Evidently life just gets more INTERESTING as you get more schizophrenic.

The guy obviously had problems - for Pete's sake, HE LIKED TO PAINT CATS.

HEY! There will be no cat-bashing on my page, Mr. Anonymous... I have so many cats that I actually don't know how many cats I have (yes, that many)-- and I think the guy painted cats because his wife or someone was into them
